About Andrew

My career began with a focus primarily in transactions and litigation related to the yachting industry. As time passed and the needs of my clients evolved, my practice has evolved to meet those needs and to include matters related to custom automobiles. I also serve as general counsel to several small businesses and new ventures. Above all, I love doing deals all the way from inception and negotiation through closing and occasional disputes resulting in litigation. The deal will always be at the core of my practice; helping people buy and sell all types of luxury assets.

I have worked on a full range of transactional matters, including contract negotiation, ownership planning, drafting purchase and construction contracts, tax planning, managing yacht, and automobile closings, charter and/or lease agreements, employment agreements, and financing packages.

Unfortunately sometimes a deal goes bad and when disputes arise, I’m also available to my clients. I frequently represent clients in litigation, mediation and arbitration proceedings involving a range of claims, including brokerage commission disputes, crew employment disputes, breach of contract, insurance coverage disputes, and vessel arrests.

Equal to my passion for the law is my passion for helping kids. I currently serve as President of the Board of Directors for AMIKids Greater Ft. Lauderdale, dedicated to transforming lives of troubled youths resulting in productive and contributing members of our local community. To find out more, visit www.amikidsgreaterftlauderdale.org or www.amikids.org, or simply ask me.

Throughout my career I have had the privilege of associating myself with several industry organizations and national publications, some of whom have graciously given me the opportunity to speak or write to their audiences. You will find several of them listed below. To the extent that any of my articles may seem interesting, we are happy to provide you with copies upon request.
